House. Early C19. Stucco with hipped slate roof. Two storeys, three
bays. First floor windows have sashes with glazing bars. On the ground
floor are French windows with margin lights. The doorway has an architrave
with round head and moulded imposts, and a fanlight. A single-storey verandah
covers the full width of the facade. It has a double-curved roof and is
carried on slim clustered Gothick cast iron columns. End chimneys. Set
back to each side are lower wings under hipped roofs. Each has an oculus
to the upper storey. The left-hand one is blank below. The right-hand one
has a pointed window with Gothick glazing. Interior: hall contains stair
with open string, slim turned balusters, and wreathed handrail.
