CHUDLEIGH CLIFFORD STREET
SX 87 NE
4/36 Bridgeland Bridge

GV II

Road bridge over the Kate Brook. Probably early C19. Local grey limestone rubble.
Single-span bridge with a segmental arch, a smaller flood arch and parapets.
Openings in the parapets at road level allow drainage of water from the surface of
the road and presumably act as a saftey device if the water level rises as high as
the parapets.
Group value with thhe 'Wheel', the adjacent mill building.
