C18 origin, later alterations. Two storeys in stone, rendered, with steep
Welsh slate roof and parapet. 3 windows, hung sashes with glazing bars.
Tvo three-light windows on ground floor, modern but in similar style,
stone mullions and cornice. Plain stone doorway with flat hood on consoles
and fielded door. Right-hand section probably early C19. Stone slate
roof. Three windows, hung sashes with glazing bars. Ground floor built
forward recently in stone with two three-light windows, as in the main
section. Plain door. Attractive painted sign showing Richmond Grand Stand,
old Race Course.

The Turf Hotel and Theatre Royal form a group
