Gas-lamp. 1861, restored late C20. Cast-iron. Battered base has chamfered corners and single face inscribed 'St J H'. Moulded top supports octagonal shaft with rings. Shaft topped with an elaborate boss or 'frog' supporting a single ladder cradle or bar. Above a renewed square glazed lantern.
A rare survival of an early gas-lamp.
