Gas-lamp. Mid-nineteenth century. Cast-iron.
Lamp standard has moulded octagonal base topped with a beaded top linked to its 'barley sugar' twist shaft. Topped with moulded crown and then surmounted by a square lantern with ogee roof and ventilator lucarnes. Converted to electricity and originally located c.10m to the south west.
An unusual and well preserved gas-lamp.
