Church. 1842 by G Evans. Brick and stone plinth, yellow brick, stone dressings,
slate roof. 2 narrow bay chancel with north vestry and nave of 3 wide bays with
narrow bays at each end. At east end triple lancet window and gabled diagonal
buttresses. On each side 2 high-set lancets. On north wall in centre gabled
porch-type vestry, with flat-roofed link to nave. Nave has diagonally-set corner
buttresses surmounted by tall finials. On both sides paired lancets in centre
bays and single lancets in end bays with gabled buttresses between bays. West
end has projecting centre with diagonal buttresses. Large pointed door, paired
lancets over and trefoil above in small gable. Behind gable octagon-plan conical-
roof stone bellcote. Each side of central projection lancet with stone quatrefoil-
star over.
