Pair of houses, now shop and restaurant. C18, altered C19, early C20 shopfront.
Brick rendered to front; old plain tile roof. 2 storey and attic, 2:3 bays (No 26
on left). Plinth to No 26. No 24 has long shopfront of glazed door between plate-
glass windows, each end pilaster with bracket and gable; to right-hand another
window and similar pilaster; fascia and shutter box. No 26: asymmetrical, 2 steps up
to C20 door in heavy frame with brackets to flat hood; on each side and above are
C19 4-pane sashes with flush frames. 1st floor of No 24 has 2 similar sashes to
right, and on left a C20 shallow canted oriel. Dentilled eaves, partly concealed by
gutter. 3 hipped dormers with C18 2-light leaded casements (left light of No 26s
dormer, and both lights of No 24s right-hand dormer replaced). Left gable has
raised verge and rendered stack.

window, irregular. Front has plinth. Shop to centre and RH half. Long
shopfront of glazed door between plate glass windows, each end pilaster
with bracket and gable. To RH another window and similar pilaster. Over
windows fascia and shutter box. To LH, above 2 steps, C20 door in heavy
frame topped by brackets to flat hood. Each side C19 4-pane flush frame
sashes. On 1st floor 4 similar sashes, in centre C20 shallow canted oriel.
Modillioned eaves, partly hidden by gutter. 3 hipped dormers, with C18
2-light leaded casements, in centre, to RH and at LH end. To LH gable wall
and stack.
