Farmhouse. C17, with late C19 extension. Exposed timber frame with
painted brick infill, near outshots of painted brickwork, thatch roofs,
hipped at the west end half-hipped at the east, eyebrow dormers, rear
outshots tiled. North front elevation, with later west side, one storey
attic, three above four windows. C19 metal windows, three ground-floor
lights projected beneath tilehoods, with cells resting on carved brackets.
Plain doorway, into a tiled outshot. The framework is enriched by attached
ornaments in carved wood, mainly figures and heads, probably German and
brought in during C19.
