Earlier/mid C19. Red brick with grey headers. Symmetrical building with 2 slightly
advanced gables between which is recessed blank panel. Gables have bargeboards
and pendants. Fishscale tiled roof with 4 large stacks set diagonally in centre.
2 storeys. 2 windows, casements with lozenged glazing, ground floor with dripstone
moulds. Doors set in flanking single storey side sections, ramped down from eaves
with curved parapet and outer pier carried above parapet level. Doors have stone
Tudor arches with dripstone moulds.
The barn at Great Chilling Farm forms a group with Little Chilling and the granary
at Little Chilling. (The barn and granary are buildings of local interest).
