C18, early C19. Two storeys. Old house with additions in the 'Tudor' style used
elsewhere in the estate. The front (west) has 2 gables (east of 2 windows) with a
lower central part of plain walling with a massive stack (of 3 octagonal flues) and an
angular Victorian bay window; the south side extends as a plain (2 earlier) block of 2
windows. Tile roof, brick dentil eaves and gable verges, brick dentil second-floor
band rising in the centre as a hood mould beneath the gables. Red brick walling in
Flemish bond, first-floor band, some rubbed flat arches others cambered, plinth, stone
cills. Casements, and also Victorian sashes. In the centre of the front is a
castellated brick porch, with arched side openings, slate roof, and 1/2 glazed double
doors within. Later outshots at the rear.
