Mid C19. Gothic house of 2 storeys, with prominent gables and stacks, of irregular
L-shape. The south front has a tile-roof, a tapered stack (with octagonal Tudor
flues) to the east gable end; walling is of flint with stone dressings, first floor
weathered band, plinth, 2 and 3-light windows with cusped lancets within square
frames, and a 2-storeyed bay with a low-parapet. On the east elevation, the north
side has red brickwork with stone dressings, arched doorway flanked by lancets and a
traceried (Decorated) window above, a single-storeyed angular bay to the north side,
corner stepped buttresses. Other elevations have similar simpler treatment, with
flint walling in the "older" part and brick (some rendering) on the north wings.
