II
Semi-detached houses. C17, altered Cl9. Brick-nogged timber-
framing, painted coursed, squared stone, tiled roof. Three bays,
1 1/2 storeys, one room deep. Front facade, left bay stone, 2-light
late C20 timber window widening earlier opening, cambered brick
arch over: narrower similar window to right, infilling former
door. Timber-framed to right, angle braces main posts to
wallplate. Half-glazed door, single-light window, 2-light
casement. One lean-to dormer to each timber-framed bay, left with
late C20 window, right 5-light wooden window, diamond-set mullions.
Chimney on left gable below ridge, on ridge behind door; external
brick chimney right gable. Both gables timber-framed; lean-to,
open wooden porch between chimney and corner on right, over boarded
door. Interior not inspected: probably single house subdivided.
Roof steep pitch.
