Road bridge over former Bristol and Gloucester Railway, opened
1844. 1860s for the Midland Railway, altered in C20. Cast iron span with brick
abutments, with plain stone coping. Single span arch with one
central arched support, forming 2 bays, with 5 stepped hollowed-out
sections on each side of arch. Curved roadway with 7 bays between
vertical members of balustrade, horizontal section replaced by C20
wire mesh. Approximately 5m wide with span of about 23m in
length.
