Detached house. Late C18. Limestone ashlar, stone slate roof. A symmetrical
main block with a lower wing to the left and a long return towards the road.
Three storeys, 3 windows, all 12-pane replacement sashes - the ashlar facing is
simply coursed over the openings. Central 4-panel C19 door, top panels glazed,
in a simple square-headed porch, pilasters. Gable stacks with moulded capping
and skirt; cornice and parapet blocking. Lower unit, left, has concrete tiles
and a plain parapet; return wing is 3 bays, 2-storey: at ground floor C19 cross-
mullioned chamfered casements flank central glazed door under a continuous
string course with stopped ends. At first floor are 3 blocked 2-light case-
ments. The roof to this wing is single-pitched away from the parapet. Flat-
roofed extension to rear of main building.
