Robinson, Ashmead and one unidentified memorial c10-13 m south of porch door at Church of St Giles

(i) Chest tomb. Early C19. Sandstone. Square edged slab on cyma, plain panels
carrying latter inscription plates which include lines of music score. THOMAS
ASHMEAD, 1811. This tomb lies immediately adjacent to the path to the south porch.
The following two memorials lie c2-3 m south-west of the preceding.
(ii) Chest tomb. Early C18. Limestone. Cyma top, lyre ends with cartouches,
tripartite inscription panel to south, not legible; partly sunk and base not visible
at time of survey, also east end broken.
(iii) Chest tomb. Late C18. Sandstone. Top worn and displaced at time of survey,
friezed ends with shields, plain inscription panels with very fine incised lettering.
THOMAS ROBINSON, 1760. Lies immediately south of previous, unidentified memorial.
