Detached cottage. C17 with almost contemporary extension.
Limestone rubble; stone slate roof with a limestone rubble stack.
Rectangular single-unit plan to main body with an almost
contemporary extension to the north gable end. C20 lean-to porch
to the south front not of special interest. 1 1/2 storeys. Entrance
(north-west) front: one large gable to the main body, one small
gable to the extension. C20 three-light casement with horizontal
glazing bars to the ground floor of the main body, matching 3-light
casement to the gable above. Small 2-light casement to the smaller
gable. C20 plank door to lean-to below. C19 three-light casements
with horizontal glazing bars to the south-facing gable. One large
and one small gable to the south-east (roadside) front with single-
light, 2 and 3-light wooden casements. Former gable-end stack to
main body, now incorporated into the extension. Interior not
inspected.
