II
Large detached house, now divided into flats. Late C19. Coursed
rubble stone with flush stone dressings, stone slate roof,
scattered stone stacks. Square range, 2 storeys and attic.
Jacobean style. Large curved and stepped decorative gable ends
with finials to south and west with 2-storey canted bays with
embattled parapet and decorative frieze, and ogee arched mullion
and transom lights, 2/4/2. Arched lights elsewhere, some with
transoms. Small similar gables scattered. Projecting square
porch bay on north side, with arched doorway.
Interior not inspected but may be of interest.
