roughcast to west and incised render to south, stone slate roof,
stone end stacks with offset and moulded cornice. Double range
with 2 large gables to south and single rear gable on west side,
two storeys and attic, and additional single-storey kitchen range
to north-west corner with roof carried down as lean-to canopy
abutting rear of farmhouse in internal angle. Two gables to south
have 2/3/3-light stone mullion wood casements with square
hoodmoulds, ground floor 3-light lengthened to right probably in
C19. Scattered stone lights elsewhere, with 2 single lights on
west side marking position of wooden newel stair. Main entrance
on west side with wide half-glazed door and flat wooden hood on
scroll brackets. Interior retains oak plank and muntin partition
to ground and first floor in south-west corner, with chamfered and
stopped beams. Many beams elsewhere and most original wide

pulvinated frieze wooden door head containing fitting made of small
wooden cupboards said to be a nearly intact C18 "wig room" where
