House, now shop and dwelling. C17, altered and extended in C18. Timber
frame, rendered with scoring to resemble ashlar, part red brick cased.
Steeply pitched tiled roof. 2 cells lobby entry, with 2 rear wings. 2
storeys. Ground floor: entrance to shop to right of centre, half glazed,
half fielded panelled door. C19 shaped brackets to moulded hood. Shop
window to right with small panes and cornice. Left bay and first floor
right 3 light casements flush frames and leaded, first floor central
timber casement. Original central stack removed. Right gable end
C18 red brick continues on later lean-to outshut to rear. Left gable end
has weatherboarded attic with a 2 light casement, exposed plates and
purlins, glazed outshut on ground floor with C20 entrance. To rear 2
early gabled wings extend from centre and left bays, weatherboarded
attics, 1 and 2 light small pane casements. Catslide roof over lean-to
from right bay. Interior: stop chamfered axial bearer.
