This photo was taken in the 1950s before the house was divided and a shop front installed in place of the sash windows on the left of the front door. In the '50s the house was a guest house run by my parents Dr and Mrs W A Dawes. The photo was used as an advertisement for the guest house and as a postcard for the guests to use.
