Chapel Cottage
GV II
Probably early C19 and-originally the chapel for Rock Cottage (qv). Appears to have
been first converted to stables and then to dwelling. Two storeys rubble with modern
asbestos slate roof. Two cambered head windows on 1st floor, to road and timber
lintel to door in lean-to to right. Entered through rendered gable end. Included for
historical reasons as probably Joanna Southcott's Chapel, connected with Rock Cottage
(qv).
