Detached house now in 2 occupations. C17 encased in brick C18.
Single storey brick and limestone outshut attached to right gable
end. Brick facade, irregular bond, mostly stretchers. Ground
floor ashlar at rear. Lower ashlar limestone gable projects from
brick gable end left. Limestone slate, mansard roof. Ashlar
limestone stack projects from left gable end rising to brick
chimney. 2 storeys and attic lit by 3 gabled dormers from eaves,
with 2-light C18/19 casements with leaded lights. 3-windowed: 2
and 3-light C19 and C20 metal casements some with transoms and
leaded lights the others with horizontal glazing bars. 2-light,
blocked stone-mullioned window in left gable end. 3 doors in
facade. Central part glazed early C20 door with soldier 'arch'
over. Plank doors to right and left plank and batten with timber
lintels.
