House. C17 with C20 alterations. Coursed and squared limestone,
part timber framed; stone slate roof. Fireplace backing on cross
passage; lateral chimney stack. Main range: single-storey with
attic; side wing: 2-storey with attic. Front elevation: 4-centred
arched doorway with chamfered surround and hood moulding; chimney
gable to right with ashlar shaft; attic gable to left with 3-light
window, 4-light directly below; main gable to left: 2 and 3-light
windows to attic and upper floor respectively, C20 rectangular bay
window below. East wing: altered in C20 with part restored close
studded timber framing to upper floor incorporating small canted
oriel; 4-centred arched doorway; mullioned 4-centred arched cross
passage doorway; two attic gables, one with 2 plus 2-light, the
other with 3-light window; similar windows below. Chimneys have
moulded caps; gables have cross-roll saddles.
