Farmhouse. Mid C18 with minor later additions and alterations.
Red brick with brick and painted stone dressings, and full
height pilaster strips to each corner. Steeply pitched slate
roof with brick copings on moulded stone kneelers to south gable
and brick gable stacks, plus a sawtooth eaves band. Two storeys
plus garrets and three bays. Central segment headed doorcase
with raised stone keyblock has C20 panelled door with divided
overlight and a slate plaque above inscribed 'Joseph and Mary
Borsly MDCCLII. Bless our going out O God, when we come in
also. Bless us Amen'. To either side of the doorcase there are
C20 3-light casements under original segment brick heads with
stone keyblocks. Above, three similar windows. Interior has
wavy splat baluster staircase of which only the garret storey is
original.
