15/27 Garth House

II

House. 1830's. Red sandstone ashlar with rusticated quoins, dentilled cornice,
slate roof, brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Garden front has 2
projecting canted bay windows with moulded cornice and blocking course, sashes
with and without glazing bars. Entrance front of 2½ storeys, has prostyle Ionic
porch, panelled door with glazed fanlight. Sash windows with glazing bars have
moulded surrounds, central windows with projecting hoods on console brackets.
Pedimented gable. Single storey extension to right of contemporary date.
