Parish Church. First built in 1642 by a Londoner born in the village, the Church was rebuilt in 1795 and the west tower added in 1833. Wet-dashed rubble on plinth. Graduated slate roof. West tower, 5 bay aisless church. 3-stage tower has double door in semicircular-headed surround on west face. Small semicircular-headed windows with glazing bars, to 2nd stage, semicircular-headed louvred openings to 3rd stage with crenellation above. East and west ends of 1795 building have pediments (west one partly hidden by tower). Church has single tall storey with 5 semicircular-headed windows in recesses on South side only. Band carried round at level of springing of window heads; eaves band and cornice carried round. East end has blind oculii and niches flanking small semicircular-headed central window in recess. South windows have glazing bars with interlaced heads; east window has square-leaded panes. C19 pewing and fittings to interior.
