Cross. Mediaeval, probably early C14. Sandstone pillar, tapering to top,
capped by Maltese cross with fluted arris and central rosette. The rosette
bears a close resemblance to those on the chancel arch of the neighbouring
church of St Martin, although this cross is reputed to be the Kilham market
cross, brought to Lowthorpe in time of plague in that village. Scheduled as
an Ancient Monument.
