Threshing barn. 1780. Red-brown brick, colour-washed to front and sides.
Pantile roof. 2-storey height. West side: 3 bays, symmetrical. Central
bay, flanked by pilaster strips, has waggon entrance with double board doors
beneath timber lintel. Side bays each have 2 pairs of breather slots, that
to far right damaged. Second floor: blind lunette above door with diamond-
shaped breather (inner bricks missing) beneath stepped keyed brick arch.
Side bays have single pitching hatches with board doors flanked by diamond-
shaped breathers, those to left with inner bricks missing. Stepped and
dentilled brick eaves cornice. Stone-coped gable to left with shaped
kneelers. Left gable end has inserted door to ground floor, first-floor
hatch with board door beneath segmental stretcher arch flanked by pairs of
breather slots, round-arched recessed panel to attic with 4 pigeon-holes.
Wrought-iron letter "G" to gable. Right gable end has later central brick
buttress over blocked segmental-headed first-floor opening flanked by pairs
of breather slots, pair of single breathers and wrought-iron figures "80" to
gable. Interior has brick wall-piers to tie beams, 3-bay collared rafter
roof with pegged staggered butt purlins.
