Farmhouse. C17 with C19 alterations. Timber-frame with rendered infill on
rubble and brick plinth, plain tile roof, brick stack at junction of central
range and left cross-wing and brick stack to rear of right cross-wing. H plan,
entrance to rear. Central range and right cross-wing 1½ storeys, left cross-wing
2 storeys, both wings gabled; irregular fenestration: C19 casements on first
floor, on ground floor; central range attic lit by gabled dormers. Framing:
3 square panels high to wall-plate with straight angle braces. Roof of right
cross-wing: 2 queen struts with V struts in apex; left wing: straight tension
braces to first floor, truss with 3 queen struts and V struts in apex, framing
has 3 panels to ground floor, 2 to first floor.
