Early C19 house. Red brick with stuccoed front. Low-pitched hipped slate roof
with small oblong lantern at apex. 2 storeys. 3 windows. From ground to eaves
4 Corinthian pilasters with garlands below caps. Casement windows with glazing
bars. Verandah with ogee-shaped zinc-clad roof on iron supports. Including wrote
cast iron gate piers with vase finials north west of house.
The Cottage, St Michael's, Ankerdine House, Rutland Lodge and South Parade House
with gate piers north west form a group.
