Granary. Probably early to mid-C19. Rubble and some weatherboarded timber-
framing with stone-tiled roof laid in diminishing courses. Four-bay rectangular
plan. Two levels. Main north-west elevation: ground floor has a shuttered open-
ing and two ventilation slits and there are two 2-light windows on the upper
level; stable door in north-easternmost bay. At the south-west end is a loft
door with a lean-to canopy on timber posts and approached by a flight of external
rubble steps. There is another door situated beneath the loft door. Two tiers
of purlin ends visible at gable ends. Interior: framing consists of one row of
panels at eaves level in side elevations. The granary is situated close to
Cwmmau Farmhouse (qv). Included for group value.
