Farmhouse. Probably late C17 - early C18. Timber-frame, brick infill
panels on stone plinth, hipped tiled roofs. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bay
range with 2 bay cross-wing to right of entrance front: irregular fenestration
with 6-pane casement to right of entrance, twin C19 plate glass sashes to
right hand return and early C20 6-pane vented casement above. Entrance by
ledged door under hipped tiled open early C20 porch approached by steps.
External local type stacks to left of porch and to right hand return;
catslide painted brick C19 extension to left of front stack. Framing is
straight and heavy, 4 panels high to wall-plate from cill. Interior: flagged
floors throuhgout; ledged door to garden from centre bay; winder stairs at
junction of main range and cross-wing has a section of late C17 handrail.
