House, now sub-divided into three tenements. C17 with late 019 and C20
alterations. Square panelled timber-framing (revealed to rear) with painted
brick infill, completely roughcast to north front, on sandstone rubble plinth;
Welsh slate roof. Four bays aligned east/west with cross-wing to east end
extending to north and south. Three entrances to north front; lateral stacks.
Two storeys; gable end of cross-wing to left with one 3-light casement window
and one similar 2-light window to ground floor. Two 3-light casement windows
and two similar windows on first floor of main wing to right; 3-light windows
flank each of three panelled doors with gabled canopies. (RCHM, Vol III, p 166,
item 38).
