Cottage. Possibly late C18 to early C19 with later alterations. Timber-
frame with brick infill and sandstone rubble, partly roughcast. Welsh slate
roof and extruded rubble stack with baking oven. Rectangular three-bay plan
aligned roughly north/south with two timber-framed bays to south. Two storeys.
East elevation has three windows, two juxtaposed, 2-light early C20 casements
to centre and one to right. Ground floor has similar windows to left and right
of 4-pane late C20 window. Gabled C20 porch and ledged door to right of centre.
Frame exposed to centre and left has three panels from cill to wall-plate.
Second entry in left-hand gable. To rear is late C20 extension with roughcast
finish. Interior has extremely low ground floor ceiling with oak beams.
Cast iron range, probably late C19. Truss has raking struts cut across by a
collar.
