Barn. Late Cl7, with late C19 alterations and additions. Part timber-
framed on brick plinth with weatherboarding and corrugated iron cladding,
brick gable ends and additions; plain tiled roof and crow-stepped gable
end parapets and wrought iron weather vane at north-east end. Five bays,
central wagon bay with opposed cart entries; brick midstrey added to south-
west elevation with catslide outshuts either side. Framing: long rectangular
panels from sill to wall-plate and long straight braces in lower corners.
Gable ends have blind pitching eyes in apex, and ventilation slits; the
north-west gable end has a door and 2 first floor windows, all with cambered
heads. The outshuts to the south-west elevation have 2 windows flanking
2 ledged and battened doors on each side; all have cambered heads. Interior:
roof has trenched, double purlins and 4 intermediate tie-beam trusses with
raking struts and collars. The 2 bays on the north-east side are floored.
