Circa 1870, stone faced. Classical in restrained French manner. Ground floor,
shopfronts between pilasters, frieze and dentil cornice over. No 70, possibly
with original shopfront, 3 round headed arches. 1st and 2nd floors, united by
channelled pilaster strips. 1st floor windows round headed, decorated with escutcheons
and garlands, centre window with broken segmental pediment. 2nd floor windows
segmental headed and with deeply projecting sills. 3rd floor treated as attic
above dentil cornice. Pierced crowning balustrade with central inset stone dormer
with broken segmental pediment. Slated roof.
