Late C18. 3 storeys, 3 wide bays. Yellow stock brick with parapet. Projecting
bowed centre. On 2nd floor a lunette at either side and 3 sash windows, with
stone cill band, in centre bow. On 1st floor 2 windows at either side and 3
in bow, the middle one round arched to give Venetian effect. 2 windows at either
side on ground floor and 2 small windows recently inserted flanking central 6-panel
door in wood doorcase of moulded architrave, sunk panel pilasters and modillion
cornice. Gauged brick arches to all windows, sashes with glazing bars. Cast
iron spearhead area railings, with urn angle finial at left of door. Area itself
filled.

All the listed buildings on the West Side of Crooms Hill from Nos 6 to 46 (even)
and Nos 38 and 40 form a group.
