Late C18 4 storeys and basement, 1 window. Multicoloured stock brick with
parapet concealing roof. Stuccoed bow, with 3-light sash windows with glazing
bars, on 1st and 2nd floors; and railed balcony above to 3-light, 3rd floor
sash window with glazing bars under gauged, flat brick arch. On ground floor
a 3-light sash window with glazing bars, wood lintel and stone cill. Flanking
this, sash windows, also with glazing bars, replace older doorways. Entrance
now on return to Croomshill Grove, renewed door of 6 fielded panels, with plain,
rectangular fanlight, in stucco-lined reveal. Ground floor front windows also
in stucco lined reveals.

All the listed buildings on the West Side of Crooms Hill from Nos 6 to 46 (even)
and Nos 38 and 40 form a group.
