Cottage: early to mid C18; timber-framed, brick nogged, stone
plinth, tiled roof. Two-bay, 1 room deep, 1½ storeys. Gable:
boarded door on right, 2-panel high framing left, projecting base
of chimney, stone, tapering in to form stack: corrugated-iron
lean-to roof on left over former oven. Above, jowl to corner post,
brace down from tie-beam to beam at first floor level: collar and
studs in gable, with single-light window, iron opening casement.
Right return studs full height, rails nailed, 3 panels high
framing. Three-light casement to ground floor on left, one
mullion missing, iron opening casement, hooks for shutters,
weatherboard over: very small ovolo moulding to inside of
mullions. Small opening above, to right, boarded over inside.
Small, turned balusters to stairs: cut tie-beam truss.
