Farmhouse. Probably C16, C17, C18, early C19 alterations.
Rendered, probably over timber framing, on stone plinth; English
bond brickwork, painted: tiled roof. 'H' plan, leanto against
side right wing; 2 storeys. Front facade; left gable smooth
render, centre brick, right gable rough render, leanto brick.
Ground floor, left, 4-pane window, centre set back on right:
single-storey canted bay, 6-pane sash, flat roof. To right flat-
roofed porch, trellis sides, over 6-panel door up 2 stone steps,
top 2 panels glazed, bottom flush: cambered brick arch over.
Right wing projects further than left: canted, single-storey,
flat-roofed bay, 16-pane sash. To right, in leanto, boarded door
to cellar, down steps, with boarded door above, glass pane in top,
weatherboard over. First floor: 3-light casement in left gable:
centre eaves slightly higher: 2-light and 3-light casements,
dentil eaves; 16-pane sash in right gable. Brick chimney on
ridge in line with left end of centre: 2 brick chimneys from eaves
on right return. Interior not inspected. Probably of various
dates of building.
