Great Trewern

Shown on OS as Trewern.
Farmhouse. Probably C17 with mid-C19 alterations. Sandstone rubble with
Welsh slate roof. L-plan with cross-wing at east end and later additions
to rear (north) facing south, main axial stack with west gable-end stack
and further lateral stack to cross-wing. Single storey and attic.
South front: glazing bar sash windows flank lean-to porch, gable end of
cross-wing to right with one similar sash window. Interior not inspected
but reputed to retain plank-and-muntin panelled screens mentioned in RCHM.
