House. W range C17, E range early C19. Timber frame roughcast on
rendered sill to W range, stucco on brickwork to E range, old red tile
roofs steeper on W range. A 2-storeys house set back from road inside
park boundary wall with front now on E. 2 parallel ranges side-by-side
with older W range a 3-cells, internal chimney plan house with chimney
1/3 from S end and 4-light leaded flush casement on each floor on N
gable. Large chimney in valley between ranges at N end may have
originated as a rear-wall chimney to older range. E front has 3 windows
to 1st floor, 2 to ground floor and central door. Mullioned leaded
casement windows with moulded labels, 3-:2-:3-light on 1st floor and
4-light on each side of door with pointed heads to lights above transom.
5-panel door with glazed and traceried top panel and Gothick rectangular
fanlight within stucco surround.
