House. c.1600. Timber framed with roughcast wattle and daub and thatched
roof. One storey and dormer attic. C20 brick porch right of centre under
thatch. 3 C18 casements left and one right of irregular disposition. 2 central
gabled dormers in gabled roof both with bargeboards and C19 casements. 2
symmetrically placed ridge stacks. 4 celled interior with thin scantling to
framing. Dining room with C17 inserted fireplace with some original brick and
some nogging. Tongue stops to bridging beam. Arched doorway right of stack
later than C17. Similar fireplace to lounge, chamfered bridging beam and blocked
4-light diamond mullion window. Eastern room also with blocked mullion windows
and tension bracing to corners. First floor tie beams cut for doors.
