TM 07 NW SOUTH LOPHAM

8/97 Chequers Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early C18. Timber framed with rendered wattle and daub infill
on brick plinth under thatched roof. Lobby entrance plan. One storey and
dormer attic. C20 door right of centre flanked by one C20 casement each side,
all under drip hoods. Gabled roof with gabled pantiled dormer over door
containing late Cl8 casement. Ridge stack. Pantiled outbuilding of flint
and brick extends to west. North gable wall rebuilt in brick. South gable
with drip shelf. Interior frame of thin scantling, mostly hidden.
