House. First half of C18. Brick with black and red pantile roofs.
Rendered service wing. T plan formed by double pile service wing to rear.
2 storeys with attic. 7-bay facade of sash windows with glazing bars
beneath skewback arches at ground floor level only. 3 windows blocked
to sides and above entrance. Recessed aprons and a plain platband. Fine
doorcase with a rusticated background to fluted Roman Doric pilasters
supporting a Doric entablature and a flat hood with mutules. Hipped roof.
Rear wing probably contemporary with 2 original 2-light windows with metal
casements retaining their ironmongery and leaded glazing. Interior.
Original staircase survives from first floor to attic with alternating
twisted and plainly turned balusters. Original balusters re-used on early
C19 swept staircase from ground to first floor. One bolection moulded
fireplace.
