Farmhouse. C17, refurbished in C18. Timber frame, replaced with brick to
front. Rear outshut of flint with brick dressings. Pantile roof. Lobby
Entrance type plan. 2 storeys with attic. 2 C18 3-light mullion and transom
windows to ground floor with metal casements beneath skewback arches with
cambered soffits. 4 later 2-light casement windows. Doorway opposite stack
beneath skewback arch with cambered soffit. Surviving wall plate of timber
frame. Shaped eaves sprockets. Shallow pitched C18 roof. Continuous outshut
to rear with catslide roof. Interior. Surviving C17 frame to rear with
original tie beams. One exposed fireplace with bressummer chamfer continued
onto brick jambs. Spinal bridging joists with stepped chamfer stops.
