House. Early to mid-C18, probably re-fronted c1800. Brick in Flemish bond
with some painted stone dressings and tile roof. Three storeys, three bays.
Windows sashed with glazing bars. Those on the ground and first floors
have lintels with stepped false chamfered voussoirs. In the middle bay is
a doorcase with engaged Tuscan columns, paterae, and an open pediment. The
fanlight has iron glazing. The south wall of a rear wing has windows with
segmental brick heads and an oak door of early to mid-C18 type which com-
bines plank and panel construction. The west and south walls of the front
range each have two brick string courses. Interior: the rear wing has two
stop-chamfered axial beams exposed, an open-well stair with open string,
oak teads, turned balusters and wreathed handrail.
