Old Farm House

Farmhouse. Mid C17 altered in C18. Timber framed with wattle and daub on brick
plinth and thatched roof. Lobby entrance. 2 storeys. Central door under stack
with 2 casements left and right to each floor. Windows late 1970's in C18
openings. Single bay to north 1979. Gabled roof with overhang and central
stack. Windows to rear as front. Interior with central fireplaces. Staircase
originally by stack now removed. Timber framing intact. First floor corridor
of C18 contains blocked C17 timber mullioned window with grooves for sliding
shutters. Other C17 window remains exist.
