GV II

House. C17-C18. Coursed ironstone rubble and coursed squared stone, thatch roof,
brick stacks. 2 storeys and attic; 7 bays. Entrance in third bay from left has
wood lintel, ribbed plank door and C20 plain wooden hood. Two 2-light casement
windows with wood lintels to left, the left window in place of former doorway.
Two 3-light casement windows to right have double wood lintels, the upper lintel
stop-chamfered, the lower plain. 3-light casement window with wood lintel in
third bay from right in place of former doorway. Doorway with wood lintel and
ribbed plank door in right bay. 2-light casement window with wood lintel in
second bay from right. 2-light casement windows with wood lintels to first
floor. Coped gable end to left. Interior not inspected. The 2 right bays now
form part of "Hunters Gap" adjoining (q,v.).
