House. 1830 s. Stucco with slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays,
with conservatory and peacock house to left. Stable wing to
rear. End bays break forward under gables, with rusticated
quoins; cornice and blocking course, gables have plain
bargeboards. Windows have architraves and are sashed, no
glazing bars; end bays have canted bay windows with
casements to ground floor. 1st floor end-bay windows have
enriched friezes cornices and cartouches above. 3rd-bay
entrance has half-glazed doorcase and door. Cast iron.
verandah extends between canted bay windows and has
balustrade and 5 twisted columns supporting segmental
arches, enriched spandrels, cornice and cresting. 2 brick
stacks. Peacock house has gable, entrance with architrave
and enriched pediment; flanking round-headed windows have
archivolts, keys and pediments. Stable wing is roughcast
with stucco dressings. Enriched frieze and cornice,
timbered gablets over 1st floor windows and small turret
with louvres and small spire.
